Alchemical Pathways

Alchemical Pathways is a 2D climbing tower puzzle game where you move blocks to create a path to the top to defeat the Alchemist. In the game, you must maneuver blocks that defy gravity to climb the tower! Can you find creative ways to ascend?
This game rewards exploration... I can even say that you can't finish it without exploring. Just pay attention to your surroundings, and if you can see it, it means you can reach it!

This game isn't finished yet, but I thought it was a great place to pause for the Game Jam. Keep coming back for updates!

Inspiration

For the game mechanics, I drew inspiration from Catherine, a puzzle game where you create a path to climb a tower while running from your nightmares. I enjoyed the strategic thinking required to avoid getting stuck mid-climb and wanted to create a similar experience, allowing for multiple solutions to each climbing challenge.

As for the art, I was inspired by the atmosphere of Hollow Knight, so you'll notice some similarities. xD

I hope you enjoy it; this was my first game made in Godot!
